Grand Toyota - Clarkson

Nearly 13 god dam years we took the Kluger we bought brand new from Grand Toyota back to their two dealerships at Clarkson and Wangara. I called to make a Wednesday night appointment to see the new RAV4 Hybrid but when we arrived with 2 kids in tow, the smarmy sales guy wanted my drivers license which I didn’t have on me. I told him we bought the Kluger new from them, been servicing there for many years, they knew exactly where I lived just up the road in Iluka but he wouldn’t let us in the friggin car. 🤷‍♂️ Went to Scarborough Toyota the following week and bought a $60k Rav from them instead. Never again will I set foot in Grand at Wangara or Clarkson.

I have been using Grand Toyota in Clarkson for years I have always dealt with Kane from the service department. Kane is extremely professional and always goes above and beyond for his customers. Kane has a very good understanding in explaining any issues your car may have and giving you the best options for fixing these issues. Today I rang Kane for some advice for my girlfriends car and as always he went above and beyond to help out. Thanks - Brandon Drilich

Called in today on the off chance I’d be able to get my windscreen wiper replaced. I’d been somewhere previously, closer to home where the staff made it sound that it could be an expensive exercise. I called Toyota Clarkson to see if they could help, I think it was ‘Mitch’ who took the call. The blade was replaced so easily, cost $25. Big thank you to Mitch for your help and patience

My wife took our car to Clarkson Toyota for a scheduled service and to fix a fault with our boot (the button to open it had stopped working so we had to use the fob). When she picked it up she was told that the service was fine but they hadn't been able to find the problem with the boot and that it would cost $180/hour to find it - before repair costs. She went shopping after and to her surprise found that now the fob didn't open the boot either. She returned the car and was told that while the mechanic was looking at it earlier the fob had stopped working too. So not only was the problem NOT fixed, it was made worse by Clarkson Toyota - and not even acknowledged until the car was returned AND we were told it would cost us $180/hr to discover how they had made things worse - in the future. No offer to do it straight away. Feels really scammy and disappointing as we've had no issues in the past with services. Edit 27/12: Took the car for my shift Boxing Day evening and found out my rear lights weren't working either. Fantastic.
